Our Vision

Who are we… and What do we do?

At Horse-Soldier Equine, Inc. our mission is to provide shelter and support to retired military horses. We believe that these

horses deserve a safe and comfortable place to call home, and we work tirelessly to make that a reality.

To qualify for adoption the horse or mule must have been the property of the United States Government as a working equine. Horses and mules can be sourced through active military horse detachments, police and corrections agencies, and military reenactment groups that perpetuate and honor the use of horses in our history. We are affiliated with the 3rd Infantry Regiment, Fort Myer, Virginia; the US Cavalry Association, Fort Reno, Oklahoma; and the US Army Caisson Platoon Association.

Our Bylaws spell out our ultimate mission very clearly .
